Things I'm thankful for this week:
25. Chairs (inspired by India) - yes, I have a little gadget thing at the bottom of my blog saying how sitting is killing us, but standing for LONG periods of time can get very tiring, especially standing through all of piano lessons... It's nice to have a cushioned seat when listening to kids play from memory or when you have to take notes and they're playing Hanon. Chairs are wonderful... stools are fun, too! Thankful for those...
26. Napkins, tissues, rags, wipes, paper towels, etc. - yes, you can use your hands to clear out most smooth surfaces (or any surface and area for that matter), but sometimes either the unwanted substance it too watery or powdery and is just able to avoid the grooves in your palm-print ... or it's to gross to make contact with :P . Napkins do a thorough job of getting rid of spaghetti sauce stains on your face, rags clear the floor and rougher areas, paper towels for windows and mirrors. There's always something soft, flat, and flexible to sanitize whatever object needs cleansing. So thankful I don't always have to use my hands...
27. Washers - our washer broke... and it's kinda taking us a while to find another one (without paying an arm and a leg). While we have PLENTY of clothes to last us quite a while, you're really thankful for the times when you need something to be washed, and voila, the washer's ready. If it gets bad enough, we can always wash by hand (like we do our dishes). I mean, there WAS a time when washers weren't around... we can be tough like them :-P . But yeah, you do come to be thankful for the white, loud, rumbling machine in that little room, when a mountain of clothes need to be cleaned.
28. Friends who pray for and with you - this is a gift for the body of Christ. When we lose faith in our prayers ... you know, when you think God can't hear you, or you're so worried, you're stuttering in your prayers or drawing a blank on what to ask God (none of which are good things, but it happens), you know you can rely on dear brothers and sisters in Christ to make intercession for you and call upon the LORD in your stead. This indescribable comfort has brought me through many difficult times. And you know, when you pray with others:

Matthew 18:20 (NIV)For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.Jesus is right there with us! Nothing could be better :) .
