Phriday Fotos I

Yay! I got some time to take some pictures with our Nikon Coolpix S570!!  Wow, do I suddenly remember how I love to take pictures... especially random macro ones... :)

The wackiest and most "disorganized" corn I have ever seen.
My sis and I theorize that the birds or bees were
severely distracted when pollinating each grain.
Maybe *shrugs*
Or the corn cob just felt like being unique...

The shoes I am forced to wear around the house...

Family room carpet

This one turned out a LOT cooler than I expected!

We're trying to make the blueberries blue INSIDE the house,
because the obnoxious mocking birds outside
relentlessly harvest the delectable berries without permission.
Unfortunately, blueberry branches don't do well in vases, so they're very dried up :( .

I do not know WHY it looks so dusty :P ...

See? it's not dusty anymore... mirror-like surface!!

Here's a picture one of my favorite little 5yo boys drew JUST for me! :)

Looking DOWN the window blinds...

Looking UP the window blinds...

Window curtains

self-explanatory

Candy ... I give my students when they've practiced well during the week...
One student thinks it's medicine O.O
(Yes, I bribe my students... sorta)

First page of the final movement of Rach's 3rd Concerto...

That there is >50 pages... toldya it was long and intense ;)

Chair... head-piece?

Picture frame

tiny square of the picture inside the picture frame...

KEYS!!! so cool (imho)

Spout of the glass water pitcher...

Asis' box for a wood-burning project in middle school...

Kitchen tiles

Stair handrail

Ummm... the bottom part of the banisters...

I have no reason for my obsession with stairs... perhaps the unique perspectives I can get?

A little "trinket" box

one of my favorite bracelets and I don't know why...

again... self-explanatory

Don't ask... I was being weird...

Yes, we put Ferrero Rocher stickers on our laptops
'cause we like chocolate so much...

And that's all...

Have a great weekend! (which I know a good many of you are having ;) )...

  1. Awesome pics!! :D We have another thing in common.. taking mostly ultra-macro pictures of very random things. ;)

I think I used to have that exact style of flip-flops.. maybe a different color though.

Can I have some candy? =)

BWAHA! I've put Ferrero Rocher stickers on my computer! I was afraid they would get stuck forever though, so now we keep them on the paper on our wall with our fruit and vegetable sticker collection. =)

  2. Thanks! :) Oh goodie! Love having things in common with friends :) .

O.O The $1 flipflops from Walmart?

Yes! Would you like a Fruit Disc? :)

Oh!! I didn't think about that - well, the intention is for it to stick... :P

  3. Hmm... I think they cost more like $2 up here :P

    YESYESYESS!!!! CANNDYYYZZ!! Thin Q =o)

BAHA now THERE'S a thought... Stickers are meant to stick O__O Who woulda thunk? Does this mean I can stop putting superglue on them every time I use one? It does get rather hazardous when I put them on little kids' faces.. =/

  4. Oh ok... maybe the demand has gone up? ;-/

Internal Emotional Wearing-down

Where I've come from: I have been driven by fear and a desire to please people. I hate that. I thought I could live for my own values and beliefs... but I haven't been able to. Not until this past Sunday. I told my mother off... I was breaking down inside. I have wanted to die for over a year now. Everything seemed hopeless. Not so much for me, but for my purpose and effective work on planet earth. I saw no fruit. I could labor for the rest of my days to live and serve my God. And never ever see the results... and not that I need to see something... but because I knew that what I did WAS POINTLESS. I was doing nothing. And it was because in my mother's eyes, I would never be ready. I would never be enough. She thought she was protecting. She wasn't letting me grow. I can't do more if all you let me do is what is safe. ~CJ

Thankful Thursday XI

Aaaggghhh... I am so behind in the blogging world, like one of my friends says, " it's not even funny. " *sighs*  And I didn't get the chance to blog the Phriday Photos / Funnies - so I'll do a double one tomorrow :) . Anyways - what I'm thankful for this week: 30. BLOGS!!! - I'll admit it. When I first heard the word "blog", I thought the cyberworld couldn't get any sillier.  Well, way to go, CJ. Just join the silliness. Evidently the silliness has its advantages O.O . It's a place for me to rant, rave, and ramble, whether or not my readers want to see it.  It helps me organize my wordy thoughts.  And!! I can share what's been on my mind without having to know if people are looking at me strangely... hehe.  A more serious reason: I can share and read other's testimonies on how God is answering prayers: Answereth All !! *big smile* 31. 2 jobs - It's strange to say my piano teaching is a job, since I really enjoy telli...

Friday Funnies III / Phriday Fotos II

Asis: Woah - I just swallowed a ton of food. Jsis: Most people do... Asis: I meant at ONE time!! ________________________________________________________ A 5yo boy from Sunday School comes up to me holding a toy train and says, "LOOK! I am a fixer train . I'm the train that takes broken trains on the track to the fixer factory ." ________________________________________________________ Here's an excerpt from Anne of the Island  that makes me laugh every time I read it: [Anne] "You won't say naughty words, or run away on Sundays, or tell falsehoods to cover up your sins?" "No. It doesn't pay," said Davy. "Well, Davy, just tell God you are sorry and ask Him to forgive you." "Have YOU forgiven me, Anne?" "Yes, dear." "Then," said Davy joyously, "I don't care much whether God does or not." "Davy!" "Oh -- I'll ask Him -- I'll ask Him," said Davy qu...
