I just started reading Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis today. I always knew he was a great writer. I have been meaning to read the book for probably a decade. I regret it, as I firmly believe that CS Lewis is one of the greatest literary geniuses of his and our time... granted, I haven't read enough of this world's library to make such a definitive claim, but this is one of the most insightful and wise books I have read in a long time.
Here's a quote that has resonated with me enough that breaking it up on Twitter just won't do:
