IBL 11

I haven't done an IBL for 37 days.  Shame on me.  And I don't have an excuse, because you're supposed to write everyday without excuse. Gah... oh well.  I shall not dwell on the past but resolve to do better hereafter.

I went door-to-door selling as an assignment for my MBA today and with no "luck" or progress rather, I should say.  It appears as though some kids have just gone traipsing around the neighborhood selling popcorn AND water-bottles, which, by the way, was what I was selling.  And some guy paid $35 for 2 bottles each.  Goodness, I was going to sell a (probably more awesome) water-bottle for $25!
And yes, I realize it's an expensive product (at least for my family's tax bracket].

And I didn't get to finish a whole page yesterday since we had Bible Study and I had to prepare.  Today, my family has Discipleship program today and I've been here for hours taking care of one 1-year-old and she's very quiet actually.  And later 2 more kids and another teenager joined in.  This is going to last all day and later I hope to be able to take the kids out door-to-door selling with me and also give gospel tracts as well.  It should be interesting.  OH and hopefully we can write out different messages for people who aren't at home with encouraging words that will bless them.  It should be a neat experience.

The two boys are fidgeting and fumbling on the couch over yonder and someone's gonna get hurt if they don't stop, but of course, boys will be boys.   We just had lunch and I really wish that we had had Chick-Fil-A or pizza, but my conscience wouldn't let me.  I'm probably going to be hungry later, but I do have Jolly Ranchers and Marshmallows.  I don't know if the kids want to come with me.

I'm hungry and I'm scared to go door-to-door again, but I think if I have the kids with me, the cute factor would be easier for me.  But I'm excited to go door-to-door giving Gospel Tracts.

And none of the kids want to go door-to-door and it's already 3:35 and I can't get them to go out since they are tired.  I'm all sweaty and we're on the 3rd floor.  The fan's on.

Wow, it is amazingly hard for me to write so much gibberish.  Not sure exactly what to say.  We got to go to the State Fair with the Wilson's today.  It was fun, I guess, but there wasn't as much greatness as I would have liked to see.  Isaac and Promise loved holding my hands and in fact, Isaac called me his buddy.  Kinda made my morning.  I would love to be able to go again to ride the rides and get all exhilarated, but it costs a lot of money and I don't think Mom wants us to drive where it's so crowded.

Internal Emotional Wearing-down

Where I've come from: I have been driven by fear and a desire to please people. I hate that. I thought I could live for my own values and beliefs... but I haven't been able to. Not until this past Sunday. I told my mother off... I was breaking down inside. I have wanted to die for over a year now. Everything seemed hopeless. Not so much for me, but for my purpose and effective work on planet earth. I saw no fruit. I could labor for the rest of my days to live and serve my God. And never ever see the results... and not that I need to see something... but because I knew that what I did WAS POINTLESS. I was doing nothing. And it was because in my mother's eyes, I would never be ready. I would never be enough. She thought she was protecting. She wasn't letting me grow. I can't do more if all you let me do is what is safe. ~CJ

Thankful Thursday XI

Aaaggghhh... I am so behind in the blogging world, like one of my friends says, " it's not even funny. " *sighs*  And I didn't get the chance to blog the Phriday Photos / Funnies - so I'll do a double one tomorrow :) . Anyways - what I'm thankful for this week: 30. BLOGS!!! - I'll admit it. When I first heard the word "blog", I thought the cyberworld couldn't get any sillier.  Well, way to go, CJ. Just join the silliness. Evidently the silliness has its advantages O.O . It's a place for me to rant, rave, and ramble, whether or not my readers want to see it.  It helps me organize my wordy thoughts.  And!! I can share what's been on my mind without having to know if people are looking at me strangely... hehe.  A more serious reason: I can share and read other's testimonies on how God is answering prayers: Answereth All !! *big smile* 31. 2 jobs - It's strange to say my piano teaching is a job, since I really enjoy telli...

Asis: Woah - I just swallowed a ton of food. Jsis: Most people do... Asis: I meant at ONE time!! ________________________________________________________ A 5yo boy from Sunday School comes up to me holding a toy train and says, "LOOK! I am a fixer train . I'm the train that takes broken trains on the track to the fixer factory ." ________________________________________________________ Here's an excerpt from Anne of the Island  that makes me laugh every time I read it: [Anne] "You won't say naughty words, or run away on Sundays, or tell falsehoods to cover up your sins?" "No. It doesn't pay," said Davy. "Well, Davy, just tell God you are sorry and ask Him to forgive you." "Have YOU forgiven me, Anne?" "Yes, dear." "Then," said Davy joyously, "I don't care much whether God does or not." "Davy!" "Oh -- I'll ask Him -- I'll ask Him," said Davy qu...
