Ok... you hear people say, "I'll be here presently." Doesn't it make more sense to say, "I'll be here futurely?" Since, I mean, I already know you are here "presently"... I'd just like to know if you're still going to be here in the future?
And also - "I'll be there in an instant!" Umm... you do happen to know - an "instant" is like a "point" on a graph? The only reason we draw the dot/circle, is because it is how we indicate the location of the "point". Ok, then - please tell me, how do you put yourself in a location of an instant (i.e. time unit)?
Yeah - my not-so-helpful cogitation that popped into my head a few weeks ago.
