I'm excited... I went on a walk with Asis today and we brainstormed a lot of ideas. I love walking and talking with Asis. She's such a good listener and she truly thinks about all the stuff I "spill" onto her and helps me set my priorities straight. Don't you all wish you had a sister like that?
But yeah - I've got more ideas and I can't wait to execute them after I finish Acton.
Things I'm surprised about the way accounting and operations are taught at master's schools: I'm beginning to wonder why more companies don't have more interdepartmental meetings to ensure the work is connected and smooth.
-- I am also very surprised to see that the practicality of the lessons taught by Acton that match up with my Mom's intrinsic character training for us during our childhood, and how the techniques are pretty much applicable in all areas of life.
Sorry - a long weekend we'll call it because I'm stuck writing my first case and I don't know what in the world I should say... it's especially bothersome since there is no one right answer.

Yesterday, Asis and I went on a walk again and we brainstormed another idea. I'm SO excited about it! There are so many details to plan out but I think it's actually going to work! We're planning on either starting right after I finish my MBA or right when she starts her MPP (Master's in Piano Performance) as a bigger side project. The timing depends on how full-blown our children's summer camps become.
Does anybody feel like people have forgotten the meaning of missionary? It means, "one sent on a mission". Does anybody remember the good old days as kids, when it was a child's ultimate goal to successfully complete imaginary and impossible missions? You know, like digging all the way to China or decimate all the outer-space aliens from your backyard?
Well, God has set before us, an impossible mission. That we go out into ALL the world, and preach the Gospel to EVERY creature, teaching them ALL things that Jesus taught His disciples, and baptizing EACH one in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit!
Impossible, no? No and yes, but that is our mission and we are just outright NOT doing our job. What happens to someone who doesn't do his job? He gets FIRED! DUDE, we're going to get FIRED and in both senses of the word!
We don't wanna go there!
Here's an awesome post about True Salvation, by the way.
Now, I'm not blasting anyone with awesome, massive, and intricate plans people may construct for most effectively presenting the Gospel, but we need to remember, it is each and every one Christian's responsibility to be Jesus to others.
And THEN - don't just share the Gospel with people and leave them hanging there. My family has supported too many short-term missions trips for people who just touched base in some foreign country, dropped off some materialistic satisfactions, sang some songs, shared the Gospel indirectly for fear of inciting the government, and boom!! They're gone... forever. PLEASE, people died for the Gospel and they didn't just share the Gospel in 30 minutes and disappear. No, Paul stayed in many cities for months to disciple the believers. And when he left, he left people behind to further disciple those in the church. There was intense one-on-one training so that the Gospel could be spread from new but stable converts.
There was no colossal building filled with wishy-washy, selfish, undisciplined, weak, untrained Christians who needed more help than they could ever imagine giving. It's wrong! The church is supposed be the light! Not the place where people gather to complain or beg God for help. No, we are the salt and the light; we are God's sons and daughters: we go out and help others! Sure, we're messed up and imperfect, but Christ is in us and we are with Him. Whom shall we fear? NOBODY!
Alright - I need to go do some school.

- Losing the highest position as God's son
- Burning in the fire of hell
We don't wanna go there!
